Many people I know do not have cable or satellite. They simply have netflix or hulu

I think it's going to open things up for other entertainment sources like hulu, netflix, etc.

I how so. The cable channels are becoming such jerks! I have directv and can't "verify to watch" some of the network shows online bc they do not recognize directv. Come on! It's only the best cable source EVER!

I don't have southern exposure so dish is out of the question for me...cable is my only source for TV other than Netflix or the like
