Tell me about your journey. How did it all start?

I had arthritis, my kidneys were shutting down, it was really hard to wrap my head around it but my mentality was to keep going.

One day she came home, I knew she hadn’t been feeling well. She couldn’t open a water bottle and started crying. As soon as she told me, I knew I had to help. I was the right blood match so it was perfect.

The thought of asking someone to do that was really difficult for me, but as soon as I found someone who wanted to do it and was also a match was unbelievable. This was us at the hospital straight after the surgery.
