The ALS ice bucket challenge basically isn't driving for funds, but awareness and that results in donations.

As of this morning...ALS ice bucket challenge has raised $22.9 million for the cause!!

Well according to their records, donations are up significantly. So that is great! However, some people are not even aware that ALS is Lou Gehrig's disease

In the same period of time last year, Lou Gehrig's disease foundation had raised only $1.9...nice increase.

Lol. There was this one extremely overweight black lady and she was hilarious! She was freaking out so bad before the ice bucket was even present. Tend she was saying not to get it in her hair. Haha

I did too... So even if people are not following the rules by donating money to the ALS charity or any other charity it still hopefully raises awareness. ALS is trending like crazy in keyword searches!
