More than just in a way -- it was the first time our generation thought of occupying the common space. "The Commons" had been so encroached upon, most people under 40 hadn't even heard the phrase till Occupy.

I take the streets when all other options have been exhausted or when I'm just really frustrated with inaction, I think Occupy is probably more powerful now that they are not physically present.

I think one of the issues with the Occupy movement, was the failure of major news networks to push the fact that it was a worldwide movement as opposed to a bunch of jobless free loaders here at home

The problem with politics now is that it's more of an ego thing. Nobody wants to be a loser or admit their party did something wrong.. it's all a matter of educating the people.. we need to figure out a way to do that and things will start to change.

i'd encourage content producers to provide greater context to frame the ideas and images, and facts always facts- opinion and anecdote only go so far and then it just becomes more currents in a river of noise
