Week 4 of the NFL season concluded with one of the worst losses the Patriots have ever experienced! It was a week of surprises and disappointments. Join Jack and JD to discuss the up and downs of week 4 and predict what jaw-dropping surprises to expect in week 5!

JT

Jack Terry · 1:00 AM

Hello JD! Ready to tawk some NFL?
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:00 AM

I am...what a GREAT week!!1
JT

Jack Terry · 1:01 AM

You better believe it! I was all set to rave about what a great game the Cowboys played, and then Monday Night Football happened!!
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:01 AM

Weird isn't it???
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:01 AM

What a shocker that Dallas is leading their division!@!
JT

Jack Terry · 1:01 AM

I know right? Give 'em time. Jerry Jones still owns the team.
JT

Jack Terry · 1:01 AM

He'll screw it up somehow.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:02 AM

Oh I"m sure of that...but Romo looked okay the other day...not super great but okay...he won
JT

Jack Terry · 1:03 AM

That shows just how important preseason is. he barely played, and it shows how long it took him to get back into game shape.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:03 AM

I believe that...look at some of the top player in most positions...
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:04 AM

Eli Manning for instance...and he did play some pre games
JT

Jack Terry · 1:04 AM

Another aspect of that game is the tawk we always have about the diminishing dynasties. The New Orleans Saints are tied for the worst record in the NFC right now.
JT

Jack Terry · 1:05 AM

Wll, Eli's problem also stemmed from the brand new offense they were trying to install. Now that they have some of their bugs worked out they look good.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:05 AM

I know...how amazing is that? they did have some major personnel changes though and that can effet a team in a big way
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:05 AM

Brees just hasn't got the weapons or the line
JT

Jack Terry · 1:06 AM

Not at all. That was also a big topic of conversation last night. The patriots have one of the youngest rosters in the league, and it shows with the mistakes they're making...
JT

Jack Terry · 1:06 AM

...and the Chiefs have had to make many injury substitutions already this year and they are playing like a well oiled machine.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:07 AM

One can see the frustration on Brady's face...and yes, KC looked awesome last night
JT

Jack Terry · 1:07 AM

Would you ever imagine Tom Brady being benched during a game?
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:07 AM

I thought we were in trouble when I heard that Berry was out for the game...I thought the D would be suck ass in the secondary...but nope.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:08 AM

Brady's days are numbered...not because he isn't a GREAT QB but because his time is over...
JT

Jack Terry · 1:08 AM

Do you think last night's game says more about the Chiefs or the Patriots?
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:09 AM

Pats...the dieing dynasty is sad
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:09 AM

KC is showing signs of getting their shit together...
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:10 AM

Charles was impressive and FUN to watch
JT

Jack Terry · 1:10 AM

And next week they host the only undefeated team in the AFC-the Bengals-while the Chiefs visit another dynasty team that is hyaving problems-the 49er's.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:10 AM

Smith has shades of Lenn Dawson...
JT

Jack Terry · 1:10 AM

Charles looked like the player everybody knows him to be, and Alex Smith showed why he was another one draft choice.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:11 AM

Oh, Jack...I think our defense might drive Kap completely over the edge! lol
JT

Jack Terry · 1:11 AM

I hope so. And it will be a sweet sweet victory for Smith, after how they dropped him like a hot rock after his injury.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:11 AM

I am very happy to be sitting at .500 four games in...after starting 0-2
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:12 AM

Smith had the game ball in his hands as he left the field!
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:12 AM

last night
JT

Jack Terry · 1:12 AM

Ain't that the truth. Meanwhile, I'll bet the Buccaneers are stoked to simply be 1-3 after that surprising win in Pittsburgh!
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:13 AM

OH yea, next week is going to be a pressure cooker!
JT

Jack Terry · 1:13 AM

That ball is going on his mantle!
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:13 AM

Speaking of dying dynasties...Pittsburg
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:13 AM

I would be pretty stoked about a win over the famous Tom Brady and the Pats
JT

Jack Terry · 1:14 AM

Can't get out of their own way. They stopped the Bucs and then couldn't manage to run out the clock and let them win.
JT

Jack Terry · 1:14 AM

That game ties the worst losses Belichek has ever had.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:14 AM

He is human...lol
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:15 AM

I loved it, really...watching the Chiefs literally spank the Pats from start to finish
JT

Jack Terry · 1:15 AM

It was honestly one of the most surprising games I've seen in a long time. Honestly, I didn't think they had a chance to even win, much less dominate.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:16 AM

I listened to the analysts and most were leaning toward KC...of course I'm for KC...it was a fun game for Chiefs fans...
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:17 AM

the Eagles and 49ers was a fun one too...
JT

Jack Terry · 1:17 AM

Setting a new record for loudest outdoor stadium in the process...
JT

Jack Terry · 1:17 AM

Extra fun for me based on how it turned out.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:17 AM

Oh, yea I forgot about that....142.2 db !!! right on!
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:18 AM

my shocker of the week...Vikings and Falcons...what?????
JT

Jack Terry · 1:18 AM

Yeah, that was not supposed to go that way! the Teddy Bridegwater era has officially begun.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:18 AM

Who would think that Bridgewater could make such a difference and win against a winning team???
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:19 AM

I was pleasantly surprised
JT

Jack Terry · 1:19 AM

People who now wish they were smart enough to see that during preseason and name him the starter back then.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:19 AM

Living in Minnie, you just have to empathize with the fans. Nice to see a win...Vikes have been bad for a long time
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:20 AM

TD Teddy is the great hope for MN
JT

Jack Terry · 1:20 AM

Hopefully this is a start to get them back on track.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:20 AM

My guess is Peterson is gone...I mean GONE from the NFL
JT

Jack Terry · 1:20 AM

Just saw this on my news crawler. As you know the 0-4 raiders fired their dismal head coach. Number one on their wishlist? Chucky himself.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:20 AM

if he gets convicted that's it for him.....
JT

Jack Terry · 1:21 AM

I don't know. The Cowboys are known for being a work release program for felons...
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:22 AM

we talked about that last week...lol. I mean it's time to rebuild the Vikes from the ground up basically.
JT

Jack Terry · 1:23 AM

Yeah, and with a QB like Bridgewater, a guy they can have a for a long time it will help give them a solid foundation. And with the new indoor stadium, it might start to become an attractive place for free agents.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:24 AM

You're right...the stadium will be a big plus.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:24 AM

How about JJ Watt and the 90 yd pick 6!!!!
JT

Jack Terry · 1:24 AM

He just earned every dime of his new extension!
JT

Jack Terry · 1:25 AM

And he cost EJ Manual the starting job at the same time.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:25 AM

I've got Houston's D for my f-team...loved it
JT

Jack Terry · 1:25 AM

Yeah I don't. That's who the Cowboys get to play next week.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:26 AM

Well, the defense in Houston is the bomb but they seem to have difficulty scoring on offense...
JT

Jack Terry · 1:26 AM

That's okay. The Cowboys defense seems to have difficulty doing anything, so I expect it to be a low scoring game won by Houston.
JT

Jack Terry · 1:28 AM

And the Eagles get a puff week by playing the Rams. i think the Cowboys days at the top of the division are about to come to an end.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:29 AM

It is kind of a fluke
JT

Jack Terry · 1:29 AM

I also think it's safe to say that both the Jags and the Titans can begin to make travel arrangements for January. Their schedules look to be wide open.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:30 AM

and sadly, it looks that way for New Orleans if they don't make a turn around asap
JT

Jack Terry · 1:31 AM

The NFC South might be this year's "mediocrity gets you to the post season" division. Every week any of the teams look good they follow it up with a bad game.
JT

Jack Terry · 1:32 AM

The Falcons have to go to New jersey and play the G-Men. If they have worked out that new offense, Eli will be 3-2 and Matty Ice will be under .500.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:33 AM

If the Giants can be consistent...that's the big ???? Manning may perform differently against the Falcons blitzing D
JT

Jack Terry · 1:34 AM

Well supposedly part of the new offensive scheme includes a quick check down to counter the blitz. Easily said, but can it be done? practice is one thing. Real time on the line is quite another.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:35 AM

Eli has a quick trigger so we'll see...accuracy may ploay a part
JT

Jack Terry · 1:35 AM

That was one of the things he did well against washington. Most passes were leaving his hands in less than a second and a half.
JT

Jack Terry · 1:36 AM

In a sense it's like how the running plays set up a long pass: enough short dump offs and Victor Cruz will be wide open and on the salsa floor.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:37 AM

Lol... very true...much like Detroit did this last week...played an injured Johnson to occupy two defenders most of the time...threw to him 2x
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:37 AM

hello
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:37 AM

Hello Ryan
JT

Jack Terry · 1:38 AM

That's all you got to do. Once you get a defense to fear/respect a certain aspect of your offense too much, it opens up everything else. For every big name wide out the Cowboys have had over the years, there's always been an unguarded TE.
JT

Jack Terry · 1:38 AM

Hey Ryan, welcome to the tawk. Who's your team?
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:38 AM

there's another KC find...Kelce...what a beast! Best thing since Gonzalez
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:39 AM

What's up Ryan? Who is your team?
JT

Jack Terry · 1:40 AM

Yeah Kelce is definitely turning into a force to be reckoned with.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:40 AM

He's an old school beast of a TE
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:40 AM

Hands the size of Toledo
JT

Jack Terry · 1:40 AM

It's hard to say people underestimated the Chiefs, after they started last year 9-0, but I think they're definitely going to continue to play well.
JT

Jack Terry · 1:41 AM

Ha! Toledo is always funny!
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:41 AM

I"m hoping so...What are you looking at this coming week? Who's going to surprise us this week?
JT

Jack Terry · 1:42 AM

I'm excited right from the get-go: Minnesota at Green Bay. They both need the win if they want to keep pace with the Lions, who should have an easy time of it hosting Buffalo.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:43 AM

Bridgewater has got my interest too...
JT

Jack Terry · 1:43 AM

After some of the results last week, I don't know if there is anything left that could surprise me honestly.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:44 AM

Browns Titans....that's the game of the week
JT

Jack Terry · 1:44 AM

I'm glad you think so. if the Browns don't own the Titans this week that's going to bode poorly for the rest of their season.
JT

Jack Terry · 1:45 AM

Another great game is the 3-0 Cardinals flying a mile high to play the 2-1 Broncos. Both teams playing great and both coming off a bye week. Expect fireworks.
JT

Jack Terry · 1:46 AM

I think the ultimate shocker would be if the Jets manage to knock off the Chargers, followed closely by a Bucs win over the saints.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:47 AM

I think that the Browns can handle the Titans. I would LOVE to see AZ take out Denver...
JT

Jack Terry · 1:47 AM

If the Saints lose that game, expect the number one Halloween costume of choice in the Big Easy to be the return of the Paper Bag Headed 'Ain'ts."
JT

Jack Terry · 1:48 AM

Of course you would! I think your two favorite teams are the Chiefs and whoever is playing the donkeys!
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:48 AM

You've got taht right Mr terry!
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:49 AM

Speaking of teams, have you reclaimed Dallas?
JT

Jack Terry · 1:50 AM

I'm going to root for them like I did the Red Sox before 2004: always hopeful but fully committed to the expectation that they will always snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:50 AM

Nicely put!
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:50 AM

Jags Steelers....Big Ben's chance to shine?
JT

Jack Terry · 1:51 AM

Can you call it shining when all you are doing is polishing the chrome on an otherwise rusted out AMC Gremlin?
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:51 AM

another dynasty....
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:51 AM

bites the dust
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:52 AM

Changing of the guard...
JT

Jack Terry · 1:52 AM

If ben wants to shine he needs a solid win over a competitive team. Anything less than a perfect or almost perfect QBR against the Jags will only show how weak he has gotten.
JT

Jack Terry · 1:52 AM

Yeah, even james harrison coming out of retirement couldn't help them.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:53 AM

I'm not a fan anyway...never have like Ben.
JT

Jack Terry · 1:54 AM

No, me neither. Dumber than a box of rocks, and too stupid to know that. he's another one who had a sexual assault swept under the rug. Of course he didn't do himself any favors when he bounced his head off a windshield while riding his motorcycle.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:55 AM

true...so...we're 1/4 of the way through...there have been many game changing injuries, lots of upsets and many many pass interference calls...thoughts on the leaders of the pack?
JT

Jack Terry · 1:56 AM

Yeah, ask me in four weeks how many of them will still be leading!
JT

Jack Terry · 1:57 AM

Almost half the teams are at 2-2. I think there is still a lot of shaking out to do.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:58 AM

I completely agree...the undefeated aren't long for that status either
JT

Jack Terry · 1:58 AM

If I had to pick one team that I think has the strongest hold on their division it would be the Bengals, but even there Baltimore is always sniffing at the door.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:58 AM

I am liking Seattle though...they look tight
JT

Jack Terry · 1:59 AM

Yeah, they are going to get in the way of Arizona having a phenomenal year. Any other division in the NFC and I could pick the Cardinals to win it.
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 1:59 AM

Once again, nice tawk Jack...
JT

Jack Terry · 2:00 AM

As always JD another great tawk. Good luck against the 49er's (you know I'll be rooting as much for the Chiefs as I will against the 9er's!) Tawk to you next Tuesday!
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 2:00 AM

I look forward to seeing the games this week...
JA

Jennifer "JD" Arbuckle · 2:01 AM

and tawking with you again...
JT

Jack Terry · 2:01 AM

I always do! I think my brother and his family will be gone all day Sunday! 12 hours of pizza, chicken wings and the NFL!!!
