Yeah, Seattle looked bad! 14 of their points came off of special teams. Their offense was anemic.

They are probably best poised in their division, between their upcoming schedule and the confidence they are playing with.

Keep in mind the rest of the AFC is a combined 8 games under .500. It's very likely that at least one of the wild cards will come from the East.

It's going to be a big game in a few weeks when they finally meet Philly. Dallas unfortunately got lucky with Victor Cruz being injured for the season.

They host the Giants next week, who can teach them all the ways NOT to play Philly.

I got a lot of friends that hope so, but I don't know. Several questionable contracts, especially at QB. If not Carr, who? a 8-8 record would be a huge season, but looking less and less possible.

The Rams have probably been the most shocking team, even with the bad record, because of how much they have still been in games. Of course, i also think it has a lot to do with defenses not knowing him, but then figuring him out pretty quick.

Ha ha, yeah good point! Feel bad for Teddy Bridgewater this week. In his game he had 3 more of two different things than Stafford: 3 more yards, and 3 more interceptions.

That's a team that is just dead in the water at this point. the weather is only going to get harsher (not that I have to tell you that) and the room for error is just going to get smaller.

I do too. there's something about them that makes me want to root for them, and shaping up this preseason they looked like they had a lot of the right pieces in place.

And an offensive line to do some of that polishing for him. His RBs and receivers are so weak he at least needs time to try and make the plays.

I say give the Vikes about two years...if they keep a coaching staff in place...and some good luck drafts and they could do something...just like any other team trying to build a franchise QB

They could, and having the new stadium will help as well. Plus you have to expect the packers are going to start slowing down. Rogers is not getting any younger.

he is, but he's played in 100 games so far, plus there was a few years holding a clip board. the older he gets the harder it is to recover and the easier it is to get injured.

I think part of Brees getting old his team is getting old around him. He just became the fastest (or youngest) to 40,000 yards, but he's running out of weapons. Plus their TE just went out for the season.

The Browns losing Mack is huge! The O line is the one spot they were shallow. They have hopes with the moves they're making but it means two players learning new positions.

One of the salvaging thoughts on that is that the QB controversy had Hoyer and Manziel working out with both the starters and the second string...slight relief on the loss
