When Heather Andrews of Pulaski, TN dropped and broke her garden gnome, revealed within was a statue of...??? Speculation is that it is an image Jesus, or Mary or even an angel. Historically, there have been many "sightings" of holy deities in odd places...join Bob and Pat for a rousing discussion...real or hoax??

Yes, Bob...often there will be left over clay within the formed gnome but it usually looks like just that a glob of clay...this is VERY different

How would you remove an inner cast though? And how is the statue cooked to the gnome if it was a separate cast? Curious isn't it?

I remember some time ago someone auctioning off a piece of toast on Ebay that appeared to have the image of the Virgin Mary burnt into it. Sold for some ridiculous amount of money.

I think we can easily dismiss Pete the Gnome and the angel statue as a hoax but it sparks debate about other deity sightings and images
