Hello!
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:15 PM

Hey there jay bird!
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:15 PM

Thank you for joining me as we discuss this terrifying nightmare.
JB

Jay Bird · 2:15 PM

You're welcome and thanksnFor having me! I can't believe those people managed to stay somewhat calm throughout this experience.
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:16 PM

You're telling me! I used to love roller coasters, but in my old age I have become quite the sissy:(
JB

Jay Bird · 2:16 PM

Haha. They can be dangerous. This six flag magic mountain in California is apparently super dangerous!
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:17 PM

Yes. This is not the first time six flags has had an issues with their roller coasters.
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:18 PM

Yep. Six flags over Arlington Texas had an incident where a lady was ejected from a roller coaster and died.
JB

Jay Bird · 2:18 PM

Wow! You would think with all of the technology available we could prevent that kind if thing from happening...
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:19 PM

You would think, but that boils down to slackers on the workplace. There is always someone who is willing to do a half- @$$ job... Most of the time it doesn't result in death though.
JB

Jay Bird · 2:19 PM

That's very true
JB

Jay Bird · 2:19 PM

I see it all the time at work.
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:20 PM

You of all people should know about. Work place safety. When you're dealing with a huge machine that can be dangerous you must of the extra mile to make sure it is safe.
JB

Jay Bird · 2:20 PM

And that's exactly why there are inspectors like me to check behind other people who could've been slack!
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:21 PM

Thanks for what you do. Now back to these people in California who thought they would enjoy a nice ride on a fun roller coaster.
JB

Jay Bird · 2:21 PM

lol. Ok. Watching the video from the news, it seems as though there are many tree branches that come very close to the roller coaster
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:22 PM

Yes. Although that is part of the "thrill" you would think they could keep that pruned a little better for safety. Jeez
JB

Jay Bird · 2:22 PM

That's what caused this roller coaster crash. A tree branch fell into the track and stopped the ride. The ninja roller coaster left people stranded for severalnHours
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:23 PM

I would've been freaking out!
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:23 PM

In the pictures and video of the roller coaster crash, you could see where one of the huge arms that holds the track in place was completely detached from the track.
JB

Jay Bird · 2:24 PM

I know. Scary! They could've easily fallen. They were 30ft up and the roller coaster could've landed on them crushing them all
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:24 PM

Only a few people went to the hospital with minor injuries. Carowinds is lucky no one died. I'm sure they will be used though.
JB

Jay Bird · 2:25 PM

They certainly were fortunate!!!
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:25 PM

This is exactly why I stay away from those rides all together
JB

Jay Bird · 2:26 PM

We can just stick to playing games to win stuffed animals we don't need.
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:27 PM

Haha. Yep. What do you think was going through the minds of these stranded people? What about their family members off the ride who were smart enough to stay off the roller coaster?!
JB

Jay Bird · 2:27 PM

I think it was pretty amazing they remained calm for the most part. One guy got nearly clotheslined by another branch and said he had a gash on his forehead.
JB

Jay Bird · 2:28 PM

If I were a parent or family member on the ground I would have been panicking for real!
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:28 PM

They were about 30 feet up. I wonder if they had safety nets below in case people fell.
JB

Jay Bird · 2:29 PM

Good question. I know the fire department safely rescued all of them individually.
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:29 PM

Makes you wonder how that thing stayed up there with all of that weight plus the weight of the people on the 7 cars without coming loose and falling.
JB

Jay Bird · 2:30 PM

It certainly is a miracle all of those People are safe.
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:30 PM

I wonder how many of these people would ride the roller coaster again. Lol.
JB

Jay Bird · 2:31 PM

Who knows? I hope six flags magic mountain at least refunded their money...
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:31 PM

Haha. I'm sure they did. Heck, they probably gave them free passes or something. Although I wouldn't accept them after almost dying on one of their rides...
JB

Jay Bird · 2:32 PM

And that's a valid point!! Haha. I'm sure there will be lawsuits. People are just too money hungry these days.
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:32 PM

Yes but I think this lawsuit. May be justified. I mean, they did almost for on a roller coaster.
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:32 PM

They employ people to inspect these roller coasters and make sure they are safe for riders!
JB

Jay Bird · 2:33 PM

Yes. And many of these coasters are made overseas. The one from these accident where the lady died in Texas was made in Germany.
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:34 PM

If these people have a defense attorney who is any good, they will go after the manufacturers as well. Anyone who could be remotely tied to any part of the roller coaster is u for grabs.
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:34 PM

Up
JB

Jay Bird · 2:34 PM

Yep. That's what our country is all about now. Sad.
JB

Jay Bird · 2:35 PM

Although these people should receive some compensation I think. Especially if the investigation proves someone was negligent in checking the safety of the roller coaster.
SJ

Sally Jesse · 2:35 PM

I agree. Thanks for joining me
JB
