It was 20 years ago today that the nation all watched O.J. Join Jack Terry as and Jennifer Arbuckle remember that day and how its effects are still being felt 20 years later.

It was certainly a joke as it became a slow speed chase with dozen of cop cars

And yet it was "so important" that not only did they cut away from the NBA Finals game, they actually stopped the game and showed the Bronco chase on the big screen at the arena.

Then of course the complete miscarriage of justice in the OJ Simpson murder trial

The incompetence by the prosecutor, the made for Hollywood witnesses (Kato Kaelin, Mark Furhman) Judge Ito, it was all a farce.

You mean he hasn't already? I thought that trial would have been the nail in his career coffin, just like it was for Marcia Clark, the lead prosecutor.

I thought she could pull it off...Marcia Clark was a leading prosecuter in LA at the time

That's why they gave her the job. They figured if anyone could win the Case against O.J.Simpson it would be her.

But Johnnie Cochran and Kardashian were too much for her...plus the planted evidence...she was fighting a losing battle

The minute the cameras were allowed inside that trial was over.

Suddenly a murder trial was no more than a high dollar circus

That's certainly an angle to remember. After the Rodney King verdict, if O.J. was found guilty of that murder, the expectations were the riots would start all over again.

Some people believe that the Bronco chase and subsequent trial (8 MONTHS?!?! YIKES!!!) was the tipping point that helped push reality tv into the forefront of television entertainment.

Of course. I'm surprised with all the attention the murder is getting on the 20th anniversary that no one has been sick enough to come up with a "Where Are They Now?" reunion of everybody that was involved.
