One time, after doing a 30 day cleanse, I walked (read: sprinted) into a Mexican restaurant for a margarita...and they told me that they make their margs w/ wine...not tequila. Leave it to me to find the only Mexican joint without a liquor license.

Start with some simple syrup/sugar, a few mint leaves and two limes squeezed. Muddle it up real nice, add rum, add more rum, fill with ice, bust it up in the shaker the give it a rum floater and a mint leaf garnish. Why not?? Lol

Its easy to make simple syrup... Just mix a lot of regular sugar with hot water. Mix until its liquid, but nice and thick:) "that's what she said!"
